YOGA for Preschoolers: a FREE Introductory class was a blast!!!  We sang songs, went on imaginative safari adventures, tried to keep ballons in the air while exploring a wide variety of yoga poses!  The little ones did awesome!  Thank you to everyone who came and participated in this fun event with our wonderful teacher, Heidi Roberts!

You could sign your beautiful little ones up for the upcoming 6 Week Preschool Yoga Course with Heidi! The class meets every Thursday 3:00-3:45PM starting the 22nd of March and ending the 26th of April.

Preregistration and Prepayment of $100 for the 6 Week Course are required.

Join us for a FREE Introductory prenatal class on Thursday the 22nd of March from 12 Noon-1:30PM.  Safe and Enriching Yoga Practice for Expectant Mothers at the OMZ Yoga Studio.  Preregistration is required.

The Prenatal Yoga Class at the beautiful, serene OMZ Yoga is specifically and thoughtfully designed and sequenced to meet the individual needs of expectant mothers. Our prenatal yoga teachers pay close attention to each student and modify poses with the use of yoga props according to their changing bodies and stages in their pregnancy. The class will focus on strengthening pelvic floor muscles for labor and delivery, relieving pregnancy discomfort, and breathing techniques to calm the mind.

Benefits of Prenatal Yoga:

-Strengthen and prepare the body for labor & delivery
-Alleviate common pregnancy discomfort and problems such as lower back pain, swelling of the feet, anxiety, fluctuations in blood pressure, excess weight gain, fatigue, edema, and urinary problems

-Relax and let go with greater ease in between each contraction
-Experience a quick recovery and a smooth transition to motherhood
-Breathing techniques increase the oxygen flow, ensuring a plentiful supply of milk

What you learn in the Prenatal Yoga class will benefit you for a lifetime. One of the most valuable things you learn through yoga is self-care and self-love. You learn to take care of yourself first so that you can take care of others. It’s a great lesson that you can share with your loved ones through your example. Yoga will bring more peace, balance, and mindfulness to your life and help you adjust to changes with more ease and grace.

If you enjoy the FREE introductory class, you can follow up by attending the upcoming Prenatal Yoga classes with Masako!  The class will meet every Thursday 12 NOON-1:30PM starting the 29th of March.

Preregistration and Prepayment on a five class pass of $100 are required for the ongoing sessions, attend as you like throughout your pregnancy.

We offer therapeutic Hatha Yoga classes that relieve pain, aches, and promote well-being. Yoga improves flexibility, strength, balance, body awareness, mental clarity and helps us live our lives full of compassion and mindfulness. 

Our classes focus on calm breathing techniques (pranayama) and yoga postures (asana) thoughtfully sequenced and instructed to meet the individual needs of our students.

Regular classes are ongoing. However, we also have excellent teachers available for pre-natal yoga courses, pre-school kid and youth classes. Please email us for setting up your specialized courses today!
